ABOUT GLENN CLARKE
Upon receiving the Academic Excellence Scholarship, I trained as a composer at Brunel University London, specialising in musical theatre. Though my passion is composition, I would say my greatest skill is in collaborating with other creatives and musicians through transcription or arranging. I take pride in my people skills and relish opportunities to create music with others. But not all of my work is behind the scenes! I also play piano professionally as a soloist at various formal events and in various bands as a leader and musical director.

My love affair with theatre took root during my student days, having moved from Leicestershire to London, the West End was at my fingertips. Regularly watching musicals and attending scratch nights, I began teaming up with songwriters, composers and directors with my work featuring at The Camden Fringe Festival, The Globe Theatre, officially supporting The British Red Cross and at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

I value my time working part-time in education, and, after some time working as support staff in primary schools, am currently working at London School of Theology as an IT and AV engineer. This has opened my eyes into the world of other media production, videography and understanding various systems and softwares. It's also improved my knowledge of technology within music both in live and studio settings.
